BIKE FILMS WORTH WATCHING

I watched a couple of bike related films this week. First off is Breaking Away, the plot centers around a college dropout who wins an Italian bike and becomes obsessed with Italian cyclists. Not a bad film, lots of cycling scenes.





Next up is Quicksilver, Kevin Bacon plays a successful stockbroker who looses it all and becomes a bike messenger. He fights it out with a drug dealer and saves the day. It is funny to spot how his bike magically swaps between fixed and free/coaster as he rides. Good watch tho.
